| Imagine, if you will… a place
where ladybugs chat while sipping tea; frogs and ducks
have picnics on Lilly
pads and flowers smile and laugh as you run through a field
of colorful daisies. In other words, where your imagination
takes flight and becomes reality. Many
of my ideas are inspired by my children and the lighthearted
and silly days we share
enjoying the simple little things
that are enchanting new discoveries when you view them
through a child’s eye. It’s easy to get so
focused on the tasks of a day and checking off the to do
list – but when a simple walk to the park turns into
a search for fuzzy monsters or friendly alligators that
live in a nearby stream, then you know what life is about – or
at least what life should be about.
Firefly Fandango is about the should
be’s of life.
Our name is reminder of my childhood where catching fireflies
on a warm summer evening was all the entertainment that
was necessary to have fun.
Laura Vida, the imagineer and founder
of Firefly Fandango began her career working for Starbucks
Coffee Company.
She was the Packaged Food Product Manager and gained much
of her experience and knowledge of the food and gourmet
industry during her six years there.
She went on to work for Caribou
Coffee Company, based out of Minneapolis and Tully’s
Coffee Company, based out of Seattle.
During her time as a buyer and
product developer, Laura kept a journal of ideas that
she hoped to one day bring
to life… with good fortune and a lot of love and
family support, Firefly Fandango became a reality and officially
began in March of 2001.
Everyday is a wonderful journey and we appreciate you
taking a bit of time to share in our imaginative world. |
